Alpine touring with guide

Beskrivning

We take us up to the cable car mountain station with Åre's ski lifts. We ski with rondoné equipment up on Åreskutans peak. It is 150 meters of altitude to Åreskutan's peak. We check out the views from the 1,420 m high peak. Now the adventure begins. We go to the northern side of Åreskutan which often are relatively untouched. Here you can, if you are an experienced skier, try a close to 50 degrees steep ride or you can go around the steepest section.
Then we ski towards Blåsten that we climb. From here, we look out over the vertical cliffs towards Kallsjön.
We continue to Västerskutan and finish with a nice ride to the south down to Tväråvalvet and Åre ski systems. We have now climbed Åreskutans all three peaks and received mostly fine untouched off-piste runs despite the proximity to the largest ski-area. The tour may vary slightly depending to snow conditions and the visitors' competence.

Price SEK 2 900 per group. Group size per guide: 1-6 persons.

Bring a backpack, and extra clothes. Bring your own lunch. Ski pass is not included, it can be bought at the ski lift. Rent of rondoné equipment is 370 SEK per person.

Age limit 13 years. We meet at 09:30 am at Åre cable car.
